Scope 1: Direct emissions from owned sources (generators, refrigerants). Scope 2: Indirect emissions from purchased electricity, heat, or cooling. Scope 3: Other indirect emissions across the value chain (manufacturing, supply chain, end-of-life). Data centers and AI infrastructure report all three scopes.
